It was simple – there were no swim schools with an indoor, heated pool that provided swimming classes for babies.

The Aquabubs journey began in 2005 when Joanne, started teaching her son and friends’ babies in her condo pool. At the same time, Zarina, a competitive swimmer and mother of three, struggled to find suitable classes for her baby and took the AUSTSWIM teacher training course, where she met Joanne.

They shared a dream of creating their own swim school.

In 2016, Joanne brought that dream to life by building a small, heated pool in a Damansara Heights preschool, and Aquabubs was born. As demand grew, they expanded to a larger facility in Bangsar, offering a child-friendly pool and a curriculum based on years of research.

In 2020, Aquabubs opened its second location at United Point, providing more families with access to their effective teaching methods. After challenges led to the closure of the Bangsar center, the team remained focused on their mission to help children discover the joy of swimming.

Today, Aquabubs thrives at United Point, with a passionate team of 10 instructors dedicated to creating a safe, fun environment for babies and children to learn to swim.
